Daan De Marrée, Chicago Union (Pictured)
It was truly an otherworldly weekend for Chicago’s 24-year-old Belgian import. On Friday against Minnesota, Daan De Marrée dominated with seven goals, two assists, two blocks, and a game-high 574 total yards. One day later in Pittsburgh, he did even more, producing eight goals, three assists, four blocks, and 754 total yards. By going plus-23 across the two Union victories, De Marree rose to number one in the UFA in plus/minus per game (7.43) with just two weeks remaining in the regular season. The Union stand alone as the league’s only unbeaten team, and De Marree has clearly separated himself as the number one weapon for the Central Division favorites.
Thomas Edmonds, DC Breeze
“Every game for us now is a playoff game,” Thomas Edmonds told the WatchUFA.tv broadcast after DC’s epic one-goal win over Boston on Sunday afternoon. “It’s do or die. I chose to do.” Indeed, he did, sprinting and laying out for a thrilling go-ahead score with just nine seconds left to propel the Breeze to the massive road win. Beyond the game’s marquee moment, Edmonds also finished a game-high plus-seven, with four goals, three assists, and no turns. He also appeared to get injured with just over three minutes left, taking a sub after a dangerous layout clipped him from behind. But he returned to the field a couple points later, with enough fuel and determination to chase down Rowan McDonnell’s audacious deep shot that ultimately lifted DC back into sole possession of second place in the East.
Mark Henke, Austin Sol
Could O-line Mark Henke actually shift the Sol’s ceiling? He’s been a revelation the past two weeks, going for six goals, four assists, and two blocks on June 28 at Carolina, a stat line he matched/surpassed with eight goals, four assists, and over 600 total yards this past Saturday at Houston. He finished both games without a single turnover, and he churned for 512 receiving yards against the Havoc, the sixth-most for any player in a game so far this season. He also went 2-for-2 on his hucks in Week 11, a notable nugget considering he had completed just one huck (in three attempts) in his previous 48 UFA games. Time will tell whether Henke sticks on the Austin O-line into the playoffs—and surely the team likes his defensive firepower too—but it’d be a tough call to take him off O after what he’s accomplished over the past two weeks.
Jonathan Lyle, Los Angeles Aviators
This 28-year-old Aviators rookie is continuing to have a brilliant under-the-radar debut season in the UFA. Los Angeles’ Jonathan Lyle was a force against the rival Growlers on Saturday, collecting 10 scores—more than half of his team’s total production—with six goals and four assists. Although the Aviators still fell short, losing a tight game, 21-19, Lyle’s performance stood out among the other top Week 11 efforts. With just two weeks left in the regular season, Toronto’s Tom Blasman is the only UFA rookie with more total scores and total yards than Lyle.
Matt Russnogle, Salt Lake Shred
Another dynamic and underrated playmaker, Matt Russnogle has been absolutely huge for the Shred all season long. But Friday night at Colorado might have been his best performance of the year, with eight scores, a block, and no turns in Salt Lake’s convincing road win over the Summit. With a tireless motor and fierce competitive fire, Russnogle added four more goals in Saturday’s rout over the Bighorns, giving him 37 goals for the season, fifth-most in the entire league. At 32 years old, he’s the oldest member of the 2025 Shred, but the former marine still very much looks in his athletic prime. Furthermore, his emergence as a steady, reliable, and explosive downfield cutter is a huge reason why the Shred have won nine straight.
William Wettengel, Chicago Union
One wonders if there’s any chance Friday’s blowout in Chicago might have been more competitive had Minnesota simply held on the very opening point. Alas, William Wettengel helped ensure that wouldn’t happen, launching his body for a ridiculous full-extension goal-line block on his recent Team USA teammate, Paul Krenik. It was definitely a tone-setting moment, and it was also the first of five blocks that the 20-year-old Wettengel recorded in the Union’s pair of Week 11 wins. He added three assists and two goals across the 2-0 weekend, as Chicago improved to 10-0 and became the first division leader to officially clinch the top seed and the right to host the Central Division final next month.
McKay Yorgason, Salt Lake Shred
Initially, this last spot (alphabetically) on the Week 11 Honor Roll was going to Chad Yorgason. After all, he had eight scores and over 700 total yards in Colorado, surpassing 350 yards in both the throwing and receiving columns, which is an uncommon feat. But you know what’s even more rare? Chad was also the only member of the Shred O-line to register a turnover in Salt Lake’s road win over the Summit, finishing the night with three throwaways to go along with his prolific production. (Colorado, by the way, went just 1-for-3 on break chances for the game.) Meanwhile, his younger brother, McKay Yorgason, went 43-for-43 and finished with a team-high 477 throwing yards, leading the Shred in touches while dishing four assists and seven hockey assists. No doubt Chad had a huge game too, but McKay’s high-volume possession preservation was perfect—he went 23-for-23 on Saturday in Vegas too—so he’s the Yorgason who gets his name on the graphic.
