Honor Roll: Week 7

Players are listed alphabetically.

Tobe Decraene, Boston Glory

Boston’s biggest offseason addition enjoyed his best game yet in a Glory jersey this past Saturday night against Philadelphia, delivering nine scores in just 15 points played and churning for a career-best 424 receiving yards. Overall, Tobe Decraene finished with five goals and four assists with 25 completions and just one throwaway in the Glory’s 22-14 rout over Philadelphia, which improved Boston to 5-0 atop the East Division. For the season, Decraene is one of just four players in the entire league who’s averaging at least three goals AND at least three assists per game. He’s the only player in the league with those numbers on an undefeated team.

Langley Fitzpatrick, Seattle Cascades

Normally, the "Honor Roll" tends to look past big numbers compiled against bad teams, but this 20-year-old Cascades rookie has consistently and quietly been making plays all season. He’s registered at least one block in all five games he’s played, and, for the first time in his young career, he emerged as a big time scoring threat for Seattle on Friday night too. Langley Fitzpatrick, who had not caught a goal or thrown an assist in any of his first four UFA games, erupted for four goals and three assists to go along with two blocks in the ‘Scades’ 23-12 rout over Vegas. He also produced 224 receiving yards against the Bighorns, 199 more than he totaled in his first four games combined. Presently, he’s one of five players in the league with double-digit blocks for the season. All this is to say, if you’re not too familiar with the Cascades’ newest kid on the D-line, remember the name. Through five games, Langley Fitzpatrick is off to a pretty special start.

Kyle Henke, Austin Sol (Pictured)

Throughout his entire UFA career, Austin’s Kyle Henke has always had a flair for the dramatic, particularly late in close games with his team needing a play. On Friday night in LA, with the disc in his hands and the game on the line, Kyle Henke’s vision and execution again met the moment. Calmly and confidently, the eight-year UFA vet launched a laser forehand blade around the double team and into the hands of Jackson Potts, who hauled in the go-ahead score in the back-corner of the end zone with just two seconds left. Aside from this super clutch play, it was not a huge statistical weekend overall for Henke, with just four assists, two goals, and one block in the Sol’s two SoCal victories, but he did complete 63-of-64 passes across the two-win weekend and led Austin with 500 total yards in Saturday’s come-from-behind triumph in San Diego.

Allan Laviolette, Carolina Flyers

On the WatchUFA.tv broadcast, former Flyer Henry Fisher jokingly commented that his old teammate Allan Laviolette was 150 years old after a sensational second-half layout preserved possession near the end zone. Actually, Laviolette just turned 36 last month, but he still looks firmly in his prime. Saturday against Atlanta was another masterpiece for the experienced frisbee star, as Laviolette tossed seven assists, scored two goals, and registered one block in the Flyers’ 21-19 victory over the Hustle, which kept Carolina hanging around in playoff contention. Over the course of his past four games, Laviolette has completed 172 passes with just three throwaways, while throwing for almost 1,600 yards and tossing 30 assists. At 3-4, the Flyers still have a lot of work to do to earn the franchise’s 10th consecutive playoff berth, but Laviolette’s MVP-level performance in recent weeks has launched Carolina back in the mix.

Rowan McDonnell, DC Breeze

It’s not every week we have a pair of 36-year-olds back-to-back on the "Honor Roll", but Rowan McDonnell authored a vintage passing performance on Friday night for the Breeze. While he had only thrown eight assists in DC’s last five games entering the Week 7 showdown against the Empire, McDonnell dished eight dimes across four quarters against the New York defense, matching the highest assist total he’s ever produced throughout his 111-game UFA career. Beyond the simple numbers, his willingness to throw deep helped unlock everything for the Breeze offense. McDonnell went 3-for-3 on his hucks and DC went 9-for-10 as a team, far and away their most efficient hucking performance of the season.

Jackson Potts, Austin Sol

On Friday against Los Angeles, he caught the go-ahead goal with just two seconds left. One day later, on the Sol’s second day of the SoCal back-to-back at San Diego, Jackson Potts was virtually unstoppable, producing four goals, four assists, 350 total yards, and no turns as Austin became the first team in the UFA this season to reach 6-0. While Potts never tossed more than 18 assists in a season in any of his first four years in the league, he’s on pace for 48 assists in 2025. Neither of Austin’s Week 7 victories were overwhelmingly convincing, but Potts and the Sol get credit for finding ways to come from behind on the road on consecutive days.

Chad Yorgason, Salt Lake Shred

With six assists, five goals, one block, 466 throwing yards, and 326 receiving yards, Chad Yorgason packed two or three games’ worth of numbers for most people into a single huge night for the Salt Lake Shred in their thrilling overtime victory over Oakland. He also completed six hucks, more successful deep looks than he had all of last season combined, in the seven attempts he took in Friday’s crazy comeback win. Furthermore, it was his first career 300/300 game, and at the midway point of Salt Lake’s season, Yorgason is one of just five players in the league with at least 1,500 throwing yards and 1,500 receiving yards. Among this quintet, he’s the only one whose team is also currently in first place.
