Players are listed alphabetically.
Quentin Bonnaud, Montreal Royal
One of the most prolific scorers in UFA history, Quentin Bonnaud continues to climb the league’s all-time rankings. After Saturday’s six-goal, three-block performance against the Breeze, Bonnaud now sits at 16th on the league’s all-time goal chart, a feat he’s accomplished despite not being among the top 200 all-time in games played. In fact, he ranks number one in goals per game in UFA history among players with at least 50 appearances. Saturday was the 18th time that Quentin Bonnaud has caught at least six goals in a game, and his three blocks were also huge in denying DC’s comeback bid, as the Royal won their second straight game, prevailing 22-17.
Tobias Brooks, Colorado Summit (Pictured)
In his first game ever with the Summit, Tobias Brooks gave Colorado everything the team needed and more. He set a franchise single-game record with 74 completions and threw for 796 yards, the highest single-game total by any UFA player so far this season, leading the Summit to a huge home win over previously unbeaten Oakland. Brooks finished the night with six assists, five more hockey assists, two goals, and one block, while generating 946 total yards, which also is tops among all UFA players in a single game performance through six weeks of the 2025 season. More important than any of the eye-popping stats, the marquee victory over the Spiders vaulted the Summit right back into the top of the West Division playoff chase.
Arvids Karklins, Toronto Rush
After only throwing for five assists in his first three UFA games, Arvids Karklins tossed five assists on Friday alone before erupting for seven more on Sunday. He finished the Rush’s two-game weekend with 15 total scores, with three goals to complement his dozen dimes. Along with the noteworthy scoring stats, Karklins produced over 1,100 yards, 557 receiving and 550 throwing, during Toronto’s home doubleheader weekend. It could’ve easily been a two-win weekend for the Rush, but even going 1-1 against DC and New York kept Toronto on the edge of the unpredictable East Division playoff race.
Allan Laviolette, Carolina Flyers
Brooks and Karklins were both brilliant, but Carolina’s Allan Laviolette put forth arguably the most impressive overall passing performance across the jam-packed 13-game slate. In his two wins, both on the road, Laviolette went 83-for-85 with 14 assists, four goals, and two blocks, orchestrating a Flyers attack that was broken just five times across the two contests. Heading into Week 7, Laviolette sits tied for first in the UFA with 36 assists, a distinction he shares with Atlanta’s Austin Taylor. Both Laviolette and Taylor have nine more assists than the next highest total in the league as the season cruises into June.
Wilson Matthews, Chicago Union
It was so tough to select just a single player from Saturday’s insane Atlanta-Chicago showdown to make this week’s scintillating seven, but Wilson Matthews gets the nod after his game-high five goals, several of which came in huge situations in the double OT thriller. Specifically, he caught the overtime equalizer with just four seconds left, and he also hauled in the game-winner at the end of an absolutely insane universe point. Pawel Janas, who threw both of those critical scores, and Xavier Payne, who registered a pair of gigantic blocks late in the game, also merit shout-outs for their game-saving heroics.
Sean McDougall, Los Angeles Aviators
Speaking of game-saving heroics, LA’s Sean McDougall skied for a ridiculous block on universe point against Houston, paving the way for James Franklin to connect with Michael Kiyoi for the Aviators’ emotional game-winning score in their Friday night double OT thriller. The sequence capped Los Angeles’ crazy comeback win, in which they overcame a three-goal gap in the fourth quarter and prevailed 20-19 on the exhilarating universe point. McDougall’s block, though certainly momentous, was far from his only highlight of the night. He finished the game plus-10, with four goals, four assists, two blocks, 617 total yards, and no turnovers. The 35-year-old also connected on all five of his hucks, the most successful deep throws he’s made in a game since the stat has been tracked (since 2021).
Will Selfridge, Salt Lake Shred
The Shred have shown they can win without him, but Salt Lake is absolutely a superior squad with Will Selfridge in the lineup. In just his second and third appearances of the season, Selfridge delivered nine assists, six goals, and 55 completions, while creating nearly 1,100 total yards during the Shred’s pair of Week 6 wins on the road. The 21-year-old was especially impressive in Seattle on Friday, where he set new career highs with seven assists and 337 throwing yards in the five-goal victory over the Cascades. In his three games on the season, Selfridge is averaging 7.7 scores per game. Only the aforementioned Brooks and Laviolette have a higher per game scoring rate across the entire UFA.
