The Minnesota Wind Chill believes in continuing to grow the sport of Ultimate Frisbee through providing accessible and inclusive playing opportunities. We are now proud to offer a physical education curriculum, designed to introduce students to the sport of ultimate frisbee through dynamic activities and games.
Aside from the physical health benefits of the sport, Ultimate Frisbee is centered around the Spirit of the Game. The Spirit of the Game through self-officiation emphasizes the importance of holding oneself and others accountable for knowing and abiding by the rules, an essential life skill.
The Wind Chill has four versions of our Ultimate Frisbee curriculum available:
- Elementary (Kindergarten-5th Grade)
- Middle School (6th-8th Grade)
- High School (9th-12th Grade)
- Peer Partner/Unified
Each physical education curriculum package will include:
- Comprehensive teaching curriculum (featuring setup, activities and games designed to introduce the sport to students)
- Youth tickets to attend a Minnesota Wind Chill game
- Ultimate Frisbee discs
- Minnesota Wind Chill posters to hang up in your gym or classroom
