Summer 2024 Camp Locations and Dates:
High School Advanced Training Camp
August 5-9, 2024
M-F, 9:00am-12:00pm
Open to Boys and Girls, Ages 15-19 (High School)
Location: McMurray Athletics Fields (St. Paul, MN)
Fee: $225 (Includes Free Disc and Reversible Jersey)
This 5-day summer camp is designed and intended for experienced high school players looking to take their skills to the next level in preparation for collegiate and club level play. Coaches will introduced advanced offensive and defensive concepts during the course of the 5-day camp. The camp will also feature both small and large field competitive scrimmaging. Space is limited to 40 campers on a first-come first-serve basis.
All players registering will be asked to have a one-page letter of recommendation from their current high school coach to be eligible to participate. Players attending should have a minimum of 2-3 years of playing experience, a clear understanding of the rules of the game, and confidence throwing backhand, forehand, and overhead throws. In partnership with various park districts across the metro, the Wind Chill are hosting week-long summer day camps (3 hours per day) this summer that will introduce kids ages 8-13 to the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. Great for young boys and girls, these sessions will include simple and fun disc games and skill development to help them get comfortable and interested in disc sports! No prior playing experience is required. Campers are encouraged to bring cleats, a white and dark jersey or shirt, and their own water bottle. All participants will receive a Wind Chill disc with their registration fee.
