Wind Chill + BodyArmor Partnership

The Minnesota Wind Chill announced today that BodyArmor will be the Official Sports Drink for the team for the 2020 American Ultimate Disc League season. Wind Chill game day at Sea Foam Stadium in Saint Paul will feature BodyArmor ice chests, water coolers, water bottles, and product for the athletes on the field.

BODYARMOR’s portfolio of products provide Superior Hydration before, during and after physical activity or anytime you need hydration throughout the day. It is packed with electrolytes, coconut water and vitamins and is low in sodium and high in potassium.

Created in 2011 by Mike Repole, BODYARMOR contains natural flavors and sweeteners and no colors from artificial sources. In 2013, Kobe Bryant joined the BODYARMOR team as one of the top shareholders in the company.

“BodyArmor has both a product and story that we feel we can relate to in many ways, with both of us being organizations fighting for market share in a deep sea of established options,” said Ben Feldman, General Manager of the Minnesota Wind Chill.  “Our team leadership and players are excited to help grow awareness of their product both within our sport and our fan base.”

In 2017, BODYARMOR launched BODYARMOR LYTE, which has all the same nutrients as BODYARMOR Sports Drink but has only 20 calories and 2 grams of sugar per bottle; and BODYARMOR SportWater, a premium sport water created for those with an active lifestyle with a performance pH 9+ and electrolytes for sport. In August 2018, The Coca-Cola Company purchased a minority stake in BODYARMOR, making them the second largest shareholder behind Repole.
