Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation Announces Spring Grant Recipients

The Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation is excited to announce the eight Minnesota middle school and high school ultimate frisbee programs receiving spring semester grants this year.

Over the course of the past three grant cycles, the foundation has granted more than $50,000 in funding and nearly 1,000 discs to the ultimate frisbee community. This investment aims to foster the development of young athletes by enhancing accessibility, strengthening existing teams, supporting the development of new teams, and encouraging participation in ultimate frisbee.

In addition to their grant program, the Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation also offers free opportunities to host professional ultimate frisbee players, no-cost programming for underserved youth, fundraising opportunities for teams, and in-kind community contributions. Together, these initiatives work alongside their grant program to advance the Foundation’s mission to use ultimate frisbee to empower youth in our community.

The list of ultimate frisbee programs receiving support from the Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation this grant cycle includes:

  • Andover Ultimate

  • Eagan Ultimate

  • Eden Prairie Eagles

  • Hammer Time

  • Lakeville Ultimate Disc Association

  • Osseo Maple Grove Ultimate Frisbee

  • Prior Lake Pluto

  • St Louis Park Ultimate
