The Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation and their partners are inviting members of the Minnesota ultimate frisbee community to join them on Friday, April 17th from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. for an evening of connection and celebration at Surly Brewing Co. (520 Malcolm Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414). This gathering will bring together players, parents, families, coaches, organizers, and supporters from across the ultimate frisbee community to recognize the growth of the sport and strengthen relationships across youth, college, club, masters, recreational, and professional ultimate. The evening will include plenty of time for conversation, community updates, special recognitions, and announcements.
The evening will begin with time to mingle and connect with the community at 6:00 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., they will begin presentations by sharing updates, celebrating accomplishments, and recognizing significant contributions from several local organizations including Minnesota Ultimate, Surly Ultimate, Twin Cities Ultimate League, Minnesota Strike, and Minnesota Wind Chill. After the brief program, there will be additional time to connect with the community, take photos at the photo booth, and continue conversations about how we can work together to support and grow ultimate frisbee in Minnesota until 8:30 p.m.
This is a free community event, but the organizers are asking that you please RSVP using the following form so they can plan to have enough pizza for everyone: https://forms.gle/RksxzKRsLuwpZbCJ8. Pizza will be provided thanks to Minnesota Ultimate and the Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation. To help keep the event free and accessible, drinks will be available through a cash bar. Besides the cash bar, there will be no fundraising or sales opportunities during the event; simply come enjoy an evening with your community!
