Minnesota at home vs. Detroit

June 24, 2021

The Minnesota Wind Chill are back at Sea Foam Stadium this Saturday, June 26 at 6:00pm. They will take on the Detroit Mechanix for the first time this season, as they look to continue on their path to a 2021 playoff spot.

The Wind Chill are coming off a big win at home against the Madison Radicals this past Friday night, defeating the Radicals for the second time this season and securing the season series between the two teams. The win makes them 2-1 on the season, and they find themselves in second place in the Central Division heading into Week 4.

The Wind Chill should extend their winning streak to two this week against a Mechanix team that hasn’t won a game in over 1,500 days, dating back to the 2017 season; the Wind Chill beat the Mechanix by an average of 12 goals per game in 2019.

It’s Youth Night this Saturday in Minnesota: Youth ultimate players and coaches that wear their team jerseys to the game will be granted free admission. The team is also bringing in two food trucks, a balloon artist, and offering a Wind Chill disc raffle for attending teams. At every game this season, the field-level Surly Beer Garden will be serving beer on the sideline in a designated tented area.

Tickets are available through the team's official online store.
