McCosky graduated from the University of Minnesota and concluded his second season with the Wind Chill in 2024. Ian is known for his crafty left-handed throws and quick facilitation that can leave opposing defenses in the dust. While McCosky was unable to attend Championship Weekend due to a personal conflict, he provided one goal, one assist, and one block in the Central Division Championship game against his former team, the Madison Radicals.
