Cascades Set to Return to the Field in June

May 21, 2021

After more than 600 days without playing a game, the Seattle Cascades will return to the field this summer. The 2021 AUDL schedule has officially been announced; the Cascades will play a 12-game regular season from June to August, with the potential for playoff games in September. Home opener is set for Saturday, June 5 at 5:00 PM/PT at Memorial Stadium against the San Jose Spiders.

The Cascades enter the 2021 season playing in the new West Division following the AUDL’s 2020 divisional realignment. They will compete against Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Jose for two playoff spots.

This year the Cascades will look to make it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2016, and they’ll have vengeance on their mind; divisional newcomers Dallas Roughnecks defeated the Cascades in the 2016 AUDL Championship Game. Now Seattle will match up with Dallas and Austin twice each in the regular season, as they look to make their mark on the new Texas-infused division.
