Glass half full: Radicals opponents are converting on just 67 percent of their red zone chances, a league-low mark; Madison was even with Chicago on the road last Sunday before a late third quarter run by the Union; through 31 career games, Anthony Gutowsky is averaging a franchise-best 3.6 goals per game; which is also top-20 all-time in UFA history.

Glass half empty: NY hasn’t registered double digit blocks this season since May 9; the Empire already have more losses this year than in any season since 2018, when the regular season schedule was 14 games; the Empire converted a season-low two break scores last Friday against the Breeze, their lowest total since last year’s loss in DC.
14. Philadelphia Phoenix (-2)

Glass half full: Philly is still in a virtual tie for third place in the East Division, with upcoming games against Pittsburgh and Montreal; Scott Heyman has nearly doubled his previous career high in assists by the midseason mark.
Glass half empty: Philadelphia has suffered four straight losses after their 3-0 start; the Phoenix have just 10 total break scores over their current skid.
13. Montreal Royal (-)
Record: 3-4
Last result: 28-18 (L) at Toronto

Glass half full: The Royal are averaging nearly nine breaks per game over their last four (3-1 record); fourth-year local Montreal product Charles Guay deserves some consideration for “Most Improved”, with at least one goal and one block in four of his seven starts; Montreal completed 27 hucks combined in Week 7, and they lead the league in huck completions per game (9.9), the fourth highest team mark since the stat began in 2021; the Royal are also quietly fourth in red zone efficiency.
Glass half empty: A day after committing a season-low eight turnovers last Friday at home against Philly, the Royal turned around the next day and surrendered a season-high 27 turns in Toronto; the Royal have an average margin of defeat of nearly seven goals in their four losses.
12. Toronto Rush (+2)
Record: 2-4

Glass half full: Winners of just two games, the Rush suddenly feel like the team with the most momentum in the East Division outside of DC and Boston, and the squad nobody wants to see at their best; five different Rush players are averaging at least 4.5 scores per game—Martin Gallant, James Lewis, Ty Barbieri, Arvids Karklins, and Tom Blasman—the most of any team in the league this season, and a signifier of the playmaking power of Toronto; the Rush’s 15 break scores in Week 7 were the most for Toronto since May 2018.
Glass half empty: Toronto still occupies last place in the East Division in mid June; opponents are completing nearly 72 percent of their huck throws against the Rush, the highest rate in the UFA in 2025.
11. San Diego Growlers (-3)
Record: 5-3
Last result: 23-21 (L) vs Austin
Next game: June 14 at Vegas
Glass half full: The Growlers two losses at home have come by a combined three goals this season; Travis Dunn now has eight-straight 30-assist regular seasons, and is third all-time with 409 assists in his illustrious career; San Diego has 17 or fewer turnovers in each of their last seven games; the Growlers surrender the fourth fewest breaks per game (4.1) this season.
Glass half empty: The Growlers haven’t beaten a team with a winning record since last June; San Diego is now 1-5 since the beginning of 2024 in games decided by two goals or fewer.
10. Colorado Summit (-)

Glass half full: The Summit are 3-0 at home this season and have scored 24 goals in each of their games at Marv Kay; Quinn Finer became the first Summit player in franchise history to reach 200 career scores, averaging nearly 5.6 per game in 37 career starts; the Summit have 25 blocks and 26 huck completions in their last two wins.
Glass half empty: Colorado commits the second most turnovers among teams with winning records this season; the Summit’s red zone efficiency has declined in each of their last three games.
9. Carolina Flyers (+2)

Glass half full: The Flyers have found their footing with a three-game winning streak, and are now just 1.5 games back of the third and final playoff spot in the South Division; Allan Laviolette, Jacob Fairfax, Rutledge Smith, and rookie John McDonnell are playing as well as any offensive quartet in the league right now; since committing 26 turnovers in their season opener loss to Atlanta, the Flyers are averaging just under 13 turns per game.
Glass half empty: With four losses already to their name, Carolina still has three matchups combined against Austin (twice) and Atlanta remaining on their schedule; opponents have the fourth highest offensive success rate in the league against the Flyers this season.
8. DC Breeze (+1)
Record: 4-3
Last result: 23-15 (W) vs New York
Next game: June 14 at New York
Glass half full: DC outscored New York 13-5 in the first and fourth quarters combined last Saturday night; Cole Jurek leads the league in receiving yards per game (369), and is 11th in the league with 20 hockey assists; the Breeze already have two games this season with single digit turnovers.
Glass half empty: The Breeze still have four toss-up matchups ahead on their schedule with a New York rematch this coming Saturday, two Boston games yet, and regular season finale in Philadelphia; even after an impressive nine break scores on the Empire in Week 7, the Breeze still rank in the bottom third of the league in breaks per game.
7. Oakland Spiders (-1)
Record: 5-2
Last result: 25-24 (L, OT) vs Salt Lake

Glass half full: The Spiders lead the league in scoring (23.4 goals per game, highest mark since 2022), and Oakland has yet to score under 21 in a game this season; Leo Gordon had his best performance as a pro against the Shred in Week 7, and is now first among all rookies in total scores (37); the D-line has five or more break scores in each of their past five games.
Glass half empty: Oakland has given up 49 goals in their last two outings, both losses; the Spiders haven’t made back-to-back playoff appearances since their back-to-back league titles in 2014 and 2015.
6. Salt Lake Shred (+1)
Record: 5-1

Glass half full: The Shred have won five straight games since dropping their Week 1 matchup in Atlanta by two goals; Salt Lake has won three in a row on the road, and has four home games in their final six; the Shred are a perfect 6-0 against the Spiders since joining the league in 2022; Chad Yorgason on offense creates pressure at every level of the field seemingly all of the time, and he leads the team in both huck completions (13) and receiving yards (1751).
Glass half empty: Salt Lake still has Colorado (twice), Oakland, and Minnesota remaining on their schedule; the Shred have three games with five or more red zone turnovers this season.
5. Atlanta Hustle (-2)
Record: 6-3
Last result: 21-19 (L) at Carolina
Next game: June 21 vs Houston
Glass half full: Atlanta still leads the league in offensive success rate, and commits the fewest turnovers per game; Austin Taylor is averaging nearly 450 passing yards per game over his last six starts; Carolina was just the second team to register 20 or more goals against the Hustle in 2025.
Glass half empty: The Hustle have just 11 huck completions and 12 break scores combined during their three-game losing streak; Atlanta has the lowest defensive break rate of any team with a winning record this season.
4. Minnesota Wind Chill (+1)
Record: 4-1

Glass half full: The Wind Chill have 29 break scores in two games against Pittsburgh this season; Dylan DeClerck fittingly became the franchise leader in blocks last Saturday in front of a roaring Sea Foam Stadium, and also added in two goals; DeClerck is 11th all-time in UFA history in blocks (147), and is six away from moving into the top 10.
Glass half empty: Minnesota had six turnovers on huck attempts against the Thunderbirds, the second time this season they’ve turned the frisbee over half a dozen times on deep looks; the Wind Chill have lost both fourth quarters they have played at Sea Foam Stadium this season.
3. Austin Sol (+1)
Record: 6-0

Glass half full: Week 7 was the first time in franchise history that the Sol swept a road trip doubleheader in a single weekend; Austin is second in the league in breaks per game (9.3), and they’ve had seven or more in every game in 2025; happy birthday to 24-year-old and MVP hopeful Jackson Potts, who currently ranks fourth in the league in scores per game (6.5) and has turned his hammer into one of the most lethal throws from the half field stripe and in.
Glass half empty: Austin surrenders the seventh most hucks per game, a pace that demands a lot from their defense; the Sol had back-to-back performances with a 38 percent O-line conversion rate before rebounding against the Growlers, and probably would’ve taken the L in LA were it not for some outrageous defensive playmaking.
2. Chicago Union (-)
Record: 3-0

Glass half full: The Union have both decreased their turnovers and increased their offensive success rate in their first three games; Chicago leads the league in takeaways per game (13.3), and 13 different Union players are averaging at least a block per start; one of those players is rookie star Daan De Marrée, who is averaging nearly 30 completions and 300 yards per game along with 1.5 blocks in his first two pro appearances; the Union have just two combined games remaining against Madison and Minnesota, and could easily have 10-goal margins of victory against the rest of the Central slate.

1. Boston Glory (-)
Record: 5-0

Glass half full: Tobe Decraene leads Boston in scores (32), assists (17), total yards (2336), and huck completions (8) after his first five games on the Glory roster, and looks like the best player on the best team; Glory had more blocks (13) than turnovers (12) against Philadelphia, and Tannor Johnson-Go is playing like a DPOTY finalist with both his coverage and attack in transition; opposing defenses have the lowest break rate against Boston of any team this season.
Glass half empty: Five road games in their final seven matchups; have at least four red zone turnovers in each of their last three games.
