Hanson is an alum of Carleton College and Great River School. After earning First Team All-Region Honors in 2022 during his final season with Carleton CUT, Hanson went on to win a Pan-American gold medal in spectacular fashion with the Dominican Republic Blue Devils. Hanson has a sixth sense on defense and is an immediate goal-scoring threat in transition on the Wind Chill defensive line. Hanson had a team-high four goals in the championship game against the Carolina Flyers.
