Today, Stadium, the 24/7, multi-platform sports network, announced a partnership with the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) that will bring live games to fans across Stadium platforms for the 2018 and 2019 AUDL seasons. As a part of this new partnership, Stadium will broadcast an AUDL Game of the Week each week, including playoff rounds. Stadium will also broadcast a women's game from the 2018 EuroStar tour hosted by the AUDL.
Stadium will provide AUDL fans with access to the live games nationally via its broadcast television channels (local listings). Fans can also catch their teams on digital platforms including WatchStadium.com, the Stadium iOS, tvOS and Android apps, Twitter (@WatchStadium) and dedicated channels on Roku and Pluto TV.
Additional complementary streaming apps and distribution partners will be released in the coming weeks.
“We are always looking for new ways to combine unique, fresh content with our extensive distribution reach,” said Stadium CEO Jason Coyle. “We’re excited to partner with the AUDL to offer another exciting sport to our content lineup and provide a previously underserved fan base with new ways to watch their favorite teams.”
“Stadium is a new and exciting multi-platform network that focuses on current, cutting edge sports that appeal to a wide fan base,” said AUDL Commissioner Steve Gordon. “Their rapidly growing reach through broadcast television and extensive streaming capabilities will provide AUDL games to a broad audience nationally, and for the first time, expanded live coverage internationally via Twitter. This is a very exciting time for ultimate and the AUDL.”
The full schedule of games will be announced at a later date. The 2018 AUDL season begins the first week of April and culminates at the AUDL Championship Weekend August 11-12th in Madison, Wisconsin.
