2024 Championship Weekend To Be Hosted In Salt Lake

January 25, 2024

The Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) is proud to announce that Zions Bank Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT will be the host for 2024 Championship Weekend on August 23 and 24. The three-game event will be held over two days, with both semifinals being played on Friday, and the winners advancing to the 2024 UFA Championship Game on Saturday, August 24. The New York Empire have claimed the past two league titles, and carry a 30-game winning streak into the 2024 season. Single-game and weekend passes are on sale now.

Home to the Salt Lake Shred since the team’s inaugural 2022 season, Zions Bank Stadium is a 5,000-seat venue at the center of the Zions Bank Real Academy, a 40-acre sports campus in Herriman, Utah, a southwestern suburb of Salt Lake City. The picturesque stadium sits at the base of the Oquirrh Mountains, and is home to the MLS Next Pro team Real Monarchs and the Major League Rugby team Utah Warriors.

The UFA has also released a special-edition logo for the 2024 Championship. Reminiscent of the breathtaking Utah sunset and Salt Lake City skyline, the branding recognizes the Shred’s blue and gold color scheme. The 2024 league champion will fittingly be crowned in the shadow of the Oquirrh range, a Goshute Native American word meaning "wooded mountain." Merchandise with the 2024 Championship Weekend logo will be available on the UFA website soon.
