After being a main contributor to the team's playoff appearance last season, primary cutter Shane Earley is returning to the San Jose Spiders in 2018. In his first season with the franchise, Earley was one of the most consistent performers on the roster, catching 46 goals and tossing 12 assists while completing 96 percent of his throws. San Jose was one of the smoothest offenses in the AUDL in 2017, finishing seventh in scoring with 24.7 goals per game.
