Social Media Coordinator

The Carolina Flyers are seeking a Social Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our existing team to maintain a strong online presence for the Flyers. They will implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts to increase brand awareness and engagement. This candidate is expected to achieve this by using videos, photos, and graphics on current and emerging social media platforms. Additionally, this individual will understand the target audience and create an appropriate strategy to reach this group by creating compelling graphics and posts.


  • Develop optimal posting schedule and content calendar, including the brainstorming of creative, playful ideas to keep our followers engaged
  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Create, update, and maintain social media content across all platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and proactively increase social media traffic, growth, and engagement across all platforms
  • If local, capture photos and videos of the fan experience and behind-the-scenes of team operations and player activities
  • If remote, collaborate with local content collectors to request specific videos and images on game day and practice days for use in posts
  • Field relevant post requests from marketing team, sometimes with quick turnaround


  • Expertise in the management of all social media platforms
  • Knowledge of UFA league and Carolina Flyers team and players and game
  • Prior experience as a social media manager or similar role
  • Prior experience in capturing of social media videos and photos
  • Intermediate graphic design knowledge for content creation
