Jack Shanahan was first introduced to Ultimate in 2008. From 2010 -14, he played high school Ultimate at Neuqua Valley High School. After graduating, he decided to attend Illinois State University where he played 4 years on the men's team, The Gnomes, and even captaining for two with fellow Union player, Jeremy Burril. Shanahan is now entering his second season with the Chicago Union (formerly WIldfire).
