2024 Youth Programming

The Chicago Union is committed to advancing the sport of ultimate by enhancing and promoting character, community and competition. We offer a wide variety of youth options - especially at the middle school level - including camps, clinics, and leagues. 

Fall Programming

  • Beginner Leagues: This is a 6 week program geared towards new players. Each week will consist of a one hour practice to work on skills, and then an hour of scrimmaging. Skills include throwing and catching, the basic rules of gameplay, and different cuts to build chemistry with teammates. Open to ages 8-12, all genders. Registration links below:

  • Elite Academy: The Academy team is for intermediate to advanced players who feel comfortable throwing both a backhand and a forehand with defense.  This group will be working on more complex skills and strategies of ultimate, including zone defense, throws with both edge and touch, and offensive structure.  Practices will end with scrimmages, and be coached by professional players and coaches!!
