2026 Youth Programming


The Chicago Union is committed to advancing the sport of ultimate by enhancing and promoting character, community and competition. We offer a wide variety of youth options - especially at the middle school level - including camps, clinics, and leagues.  

Fall 2026

  • Evanston
    • Evanston Chicago Union Competitive ​Academy Team
      • Dates: 
        • Practices
          • Tuesdays 5-7pm running September 8th - October 27th

          • September 27th: Windy City Invite in Rockford
          • October 25th: Octhrowberfest in Neuqua

      • Ages: 9-14 years old 
      • Description: The Union Academy is a competitive travel ultimate frisbee program designed for players looking to further develop their skills and compete at a higher level. Players will practice weekly and participate in tournaments against other club and academy programs from across the state. Tournament registration fees are included in the program cost. The Academy is recommended for players with prior ultimate frisbee experience or those seeking a more advanced and competitive environment.

    • Evanston Youth Ultimate League
      • ​Dates: Thursdays 5-7pm running September 10th - October 15th 
      • Location: Robert Crown Center Field 1, 1801 Main St, Evanston, IL 60202
      • Ages: 9-14 years old 
      • Description: The fall Ultimate Frisbee league is open to youth ages 9-14. Ultimate frisbee is a fun, fast growing, non contact sport that emphasizes teamwork and player leadership through self officiating. It is also an excellent crossover sport for athletes who play soccer, basketball, football, or lacrosse by helping develop conditioning, agility, cutting, field awareness, and hand eye coordination. Each league night, mixed gender teams will participate in a short practice focused on skill development through activities like throwing accuracy games, partner catching, footwork games, and pulling contests, followed by league play. Great for multi-sport athletes looking to stay active and competitive during the fall season.

  • River Forest
    • River Forest Youth Ultimate Frisbee League
      • ​Dates: Mondays 6-8pm running September 14th - October 19th 
      • Location: Washington Square Park, 131 Forest Ave River Forest, IL
      • Ages: 9-14 years old 
      • Description: The fall Ultimate Frisbee league is open to youth ages 9-14. Ultimate frisbee is a fun, fast growing, non contact sport that emphasizes teamwork and player leadership through self officiating.       • Ages: 9-14 years old

  • West Chicago 
    • Friday Night Frisbee Fall League 
      • Dates: Fridays 6:00-7:30pm from August 21st - September 25th 
      • Location: Reed Keppler Park South, 550 Yale St. West Chicago, IL 
      • Ages: Open to all ages 
      • Description: Join us for a weekly evening of ultimate frisbee - a fast-paced, non-contact sport similar to soccer and basketball. No previous experience needed. Coaches will get you throwing, catching, and playing within the first session. All equipment provided.
