Andrew "Shrew" Sjogren grew up in St. Ignace, Michigan. He attended Michigan State University where he studied Environmental Engineering. Andrew found ultimate during his freshman year and played on MSU's B team (Riot Control) for two years and A-team (ARC) for two years. He started playing in the UFA with the Detroit Mechanix in 2018 and was with the team through 2022. Andrew represented the Mechanix in the 2022 UFA All-Star Game. He moved to Chicago to pursue higher levels of ultimate frisbee with the Chicago Union. The 2025 season is Andrew's third year with the Union and he is excited to wear the blue and white again.
