Thunderbirds Hire University of Pittsburgh Ultimate Player and Graphic Designer Will Litchholt

Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Thunderbirds have added another talented individual to their staff, hiring current University of Pittsburgh student and current player for the Men's College Ultimate team, Will Litchholt to be their Graphic & Branding Designer.

Among the many projects that Litchholt will be working on, the main focus will include designing the 2025 Pittsburgh Thunderbirds jerseys as well as exploring options for a special commemorative ten year anniversary logo.

Litchholt has designed jerseys for multiple teams including En Sabah Nur (Pittsburgh University), The College of New Jersey, and Westfield High School.

Originally from New Jersey, Litchholt is currently attending the University of Pittsburgh as a double major in Studio Arts and Psychology. He has been playing ultimate for 9 years, 4 of those being with Pittsburgh's En Sabah Nur.

"Will came to us with an incredible portfolio and an amazing eye for ultimate design," says General Manager Andrew Gardner. "It feels appropriate that we'll have an En Sabah Nur player and Pittsburgh student design our jerseys and brand in Year 10 after so many Pitt players and staff have made an impact on the Thunderbirds organization."

The Thunderbirds and Litchholt plan to release the final designs sometime in early 2025 before the start of the season in April of 2025.

Currently, all home games are projected to be played at Highmark Stadium.
