PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Thunderbirds have agreed on a partnership with SportsNet Pittsburgh, marking a major step forward in expanding the team's reach across the region. All six Thunderbirds home games will be on the network during the 2025 Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) season.
This partnership places the Thunderbirds alongside Pittsburgh's most iconic teams, as SportsNet Pittsburgh is the home for Pittsburgh Pirates baseball, Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, and Pittsburgh Passion football.
"SportsNet Pittsburgh is the go-to spot for Pittsburgh Pirates baseball, Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, and Pittsburgh Passion football. To be right alongside these titans in the sports industry is beyond exciting, and we're looking forward to expanding Ultimate Frisbee’s footprint in the region," said Thunderbirds General Manager and Co-Founder Andrew Gardner.
The Thunderbirds' 2025 home schedule on SportsNet Pittsburgh includes a mix of live and tape-delayed broadcasts, with select games airing directly before or after Pirates broadcasts throughout the season:
