PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (July 18, 2024) - The Philadelphia Phoenix of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) will host a special autograph signing session with baseball and softball legend Mo’ne Davis during the July 20 season finale versus the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds at Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania. The Saturday contest at 3:00 p.m. ET also marks the third annual Commonwealth Cup, featuring the historical in-state rivalry between the two organizations.
Davis will be signing autographs for ticketed attendees on the main concourse before and during the game. Fans can bring their own items, purchase Phoenix gear for a special discount up to 60%, or buy an exclusive Mo’ne Davis playing card ($5) or frisbee ($10). Born in Philadelphia, Davis became an international superstar in the 2014 Little League World Series, becoming the first girl to earn a pitching win and throw a complete game shutout. She was also featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated and became a softball standout at Virginia’s Hampton University.
All fans will also receive free tomato pie and freeze pops, as well as skincare and sunscreen products courtesy of Phoenix community partners. Crossing Broad's Kyle Pagan will defend his title in the 2nd Annual Gaeta’s Tomato Pie Eating Contest at halftime, and kids are invited to play in the My Best Birthday Kid Zone and Wham-O Splash Patch, featuring the all new Slip ‘N Slide. The team will also be hosting a Pregame Youth Clinic at 2:15 p.m. presented by JAG Physical Therapy. Fans can also enter a raffle to win a throwback Allen Iverson jersey by bringing a food donation for the Delco Food Bank to the event.
Gates open at 2:00 p.m. ET, opening pull at 3:00 p.m. Children ages six and under receive free admission, with $12 tickets for ages 7-17 and $20 for adults.
