PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Philadelphia Phoenix are set to take on 3-time Ultimate Frisbee Association champion New York Empire in a 2025 preseason exhibition game presented by Summerseat Crush on Saturday, April 5 at Neumann University’s Mirenda Center Turf Field in Aston, Penn.
Game tickets are available now, general admission is $10 with those 17 and under, Phoenix season ticket holders as well as Neumann University students and staff receiving free entry. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of Delaware County, which provides free food and essential items to residents of all ages in need throughout Delaware County.
The Food Bank of Delaware County will also be in attendance to collect item donations. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, dry goods and hygiene products for collection.
The event features an exciting lineup of pregame activities with gates opening at 3:30 p.m. Summerseat Crush will host the official Hotbird Summer tailgate with SKIP’S Food Truck, Summerseat Crush cocktails, music and games.
In the stadium area, Phoenix and Empire players will be signing autographs, and at 4 p.m. participants of all ages can take part in an onfield ultimate frisbee skills clinic with professional players. Attendees will have access to additional vendors and activities in the stadium area including: food by Ashlynn Distillery, Summerseat Crush cocktails, Two Locals Brewing, giveaways, merchandise, plus entertainment and games leading up to the opening pull at 6:00 p.m.
