Philadelphia, PA. (March 19, 2024) - The Philadelphia Phoenix of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) have announced Best Transit as the team’s official transportation sponsor. A Philadelphia-based transportation company founded by Robina Shafqat, Best Transit was originally established to provide Non-Emergency Transport (NEMT) to primarily Medicare and Medicaid recipients and is one of the largest privately-owned transportation companies providing paratransit, fixed route, shuttle, and school bus services.

Best Transit will provide transportation services for all Phoenix road games in 2024 and 2025, with stops ranging from Montreal, Canada, to Raleigh, N.C. In addition, the company will also be hosting Hotbird Party Bus roadtrip experiences to New York and Washington, D.C., for local fans, including exclusive pregame tailgates. Best Transit will be featured on all Philadelphia Phoenix jerseys and fans can check out the “Best Transit Drive of the Game” on Hotbird social media platforms after each matchup. For the adventurous fan, the company will activate a tricycle race at each game and Philly’s Hometown Hotbirds will roll into enemy territory in the first-ever branded team bus in UFA history.
