UFA's Philadelphia Phoenix To Play Halftime Exhibition At NFL Wild Card Game

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (January 9, 2024) - The Philadelphia Phoenix of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) will play an exhibition game during halftime of the NFL Wild Card game on Sunday, January 12. The game features the Green Bay Packers versus the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at 4:30 p.m. ET. The Phoenix will play an intrasquad game in front of nearly 70,000 fans.

The Phoenix have played five exhibitions during NFL games, and are a crowd favorite for die-hard Eagles fans. The last time the UFA was featured at Lincoln Financial Field was December 31, 2023, as the Phoenix faced off against the D.C. Breeze

Sunday’s exhibition will debut the Phoenix’s new coaching staff of head coach, David Brandolph, and assistant coach, Bill Maroon, giving spectators a look at what to expect for the Phoenix as they begin their lead into season ahead.
