INTRODUCING THE 2025-26 PITTSBURGH THUNDERBIRDS PROFESSIONAL ULTIMATE FRISBEE® GYM TAKEOVER SERIES
We're partnering with the local ultimate frisbee nonprofit, Pittsburgh Ultimate, to offer "Gym Takeovers", a program that brings our professional athletes, a fresh curriculum, and brand-new equipment (yours to keep!) right to your school for a full-day gym class takeover.
Takeovers are an exciting way for students to be active and learn the game directly from the experts with a focus on teamwork, integrity, and wellness.
- Engaging: Our professional athletes will lead fun and interactive sessions (running, catching, throwing) that teach students coordination, body control, and respect for others.
- All-Inclusive: We'll bring everything you need! We will also gift frisbees to your school for any future ultimate frisbee programs.
- Exclusive Perks: Each student will receive free tickets to see Professional ultimate frisbee in action: a Thunderbirds home game at Highmark Stadium. Pittsburgh Ultimate also offers passionate community leaders that will remain as a resource and serve your school in any way they can: hosting additional programming, providing additional equipment, or even facilitating the formation of a school team!
