This Friday, the DC Breeze take on the undefeated Boston Glory at Carlini Field in their first home game of the season.

DC is coming into the game riding a high after dominating the Philadelphia Phoenix in Philly last weekend. The Breeze will try to carry this energy and offensive fitness into Friday's game.

After a shaky week, DC put up one of the best offensive performances in UFA history. The Breeze offense went unbroken through all four quarters and gave the Phoenix only one break opportunity throughout the entire game, something that has only happened four times in UFA history.

Boston will also be riding a high, being one of only two undefeated teams in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) (Boston and Salt Lake Shred).

They will be looking for their third division win in just three games. Last weekend, the Glory defeated the Montreal Royal by eight goals, never leading by less than four points in the second half.

The Breeze and Glory have matched up in East Division clashes many times before. DC has won the last two matchups, most recently in the 2023 East Division playoffs when DC defeated Boston 19-12.

While historically, DC has taken this matchup, these two have the potential to put together a very competitive game. In the league's Power Rankings, DC checks in at seventh and Boston at eighth.

The game will feature two of the league's best offenses and a league MVP on each side of the disc: the Breeze, led by 2018 league MVP Rowan McDonnell and Boston by reigning league MVP Jeff Babbitt, who came to the Glory from the New York Empire in the offseason.

This game promises to be an exciting high-energy matchup as the Breeze try to take down the undefeated Glory in their first home game of the season. Tickets are available at
