DC meets Raleigh on Saturday for final regular season home game

August 19, 2021

The DC Breeze will play their final regular season home game this Saturday, August 21 against the Raleigh Flyers. Opening pull is set for 6pm at Catholic University's Carlini Field.

The four playoff teams in the Atlantic Division are set: Atlanta, DC, New York, and Raleigh will battle for two spots at Championship Weekend in two weeks. Which teams get to host a playoff game has yet to be determined, with all four teams currently sitting within a half game of one another in the standings. At 8-2, the Breeze are currently in first place and in the driver’s seat heading into the final week of the regular season.

As the Game of the Week, Raleigh vs. DC will re-air on Fox Sports 2 on Wednesday of the following week, as part of a two-year agreement between the AUDL and Fox Sports signed at the start of 2020.

With a win this Saturday, the Breeze can all but lock up a home playoff game in the Atlantic. They’ll still need to play the Tampa Bay Cannons in a rescheduled game, though the Cannons are just 2-9 this season, a record that includes a blowout loss to DC in the teams’ first meeting.

Tickets for this game are available at the official team store.
