Mateo grew up in Gilroy, California before moving to Long Beach for college. He first learned to play Ultimate at Long Beach State under Coach Jacob Baumer and graduated in 2024. After playing with Southern California's Hazard and Condors, Dominguez is back for his second full season with the Aviators. Outside of frisbee, Mateo is kept busy with sneaker collecting and his love/hate relationship with Mario Kart.
