Daniel grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts and played soccer throughout his youth, winning both a state and national championship. At Colorado College, he transitioned to playing frisbee and was part of a skeleton squad that made a run to D1 Nationals. Daniel has spent the last 9 years in Amsterdam, the Netherlands where he captained the Dutch National Beach Team, coached the Dutch National Open Team, and helped take his club, GRUT, to two back to back European Championships in 2021 and 2022.
