Vedant Sachdeva was born in Delhi, India, and shortly after his birth, migrated to the US, where he then lived in Kansas, Texas, and New Jersey. He began playing ultimate during his senior year of high school, but took a 3 year hiatus during his time at Rutgers University, focusing on work for an educational nonprofit. After his junior year, he rediscovered a passion for frisbee, and played his fourth year of eligibility at Rutgers and brought his defense-first mentality to the University of Chicago for his fifth year. These days, he can be found playing pretty much any level of ultimate, from pick-up to professional, with the exclusive intent to play tight defense.
