Sam Gabrielson grew up in Richmond, VA where he played baseball as his primary sport. He attended George Mason University in Fairfax, VA where he discovered Ultimate for the first time and got the nickname "Toucan". He captained the team his senior year. He has previously played in the UFA with the Carolina Flyers, Atlanta Hustle, and Pittsburgh Thunderbirds. He is excited to be a part of the Chicago Union and hopes to help in bringing this team back to Championship Weekend.
