Simon Dastrup was born and raised in Chicago. Before graduation from Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, he developed a passion for language learning, choir and a cappella, and ultimate frisbee. After graduation he spent two years as a missionary for his church, partly in Wyoming and partly in Taiwan. Since then, he has been playing ultimate with various programs around Utah while he studies Chinese Language and Culture at BYU. In his free time he enjoys Super Smash Bros, food with his family, Studio Ghibli films, and walks along the lakefront.
