The Chicago Union are excited to announce a series of returning player signings for the upcoming 2022 season. Paul Arters, Charlie Furse, Jeremy Burril, and Tim Schoch have all signed 1-year contracts with the team.
Arters returns for his second season with the Chicago Union. He played in nine games during the 2021 season and produced 22 goals, 29 assists, 4 blocks, and had a 96.8 percent completion rate. Arters was also named to the 2021 AUDL All-Rookie First Team.
Charlie Furse and Jeremy Burril will be returning for their fourth seasons with the Chicago Union. Furse finished the 2021 season with 10 goals, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and a completion percentage rate of 95.75 percent. Burril finished the 2021 season with a career-high of 21 goals, 13 assists, 1 block, and a 94.7 percent completion rate.
Schoch returns for his second season with the Chicago Union after finishing the 2021 season with 6 goals, 10 assists, 2 blocks, and a completion percentage rate of 98.45 percent. During the 2021 season, Schoch threw a highlight-reel assist to Nate Goff against the Indianapolis AlleyCats.

The Chicago Union will be holding open tryouts on February 26, 12 pm to 4 pm at Lane Tech Prep High School at 2501 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60618
The official roster release signing day will be on Sunday, March 13.
The Chicago Union will open the 2022 season on May 1 against the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds at De La Salle Institute. The full season schedule can be found here.
