Chicago set to take on Madison for first time this season

July 1, 2021

The Chicago Union are back at Elmhurst University’s Langhorst Field this Friday, July 2 at 7pm. They'll take on the Madison Radicals for the first time this season.

After a 28-20 win this past weekend in Indianapolis, the Union head into Week 5 of the AUDL season with a perfect record; at 4-0, they’re one of three undefeated teams left in the league and sit alone atop the Central Division. Friday’s game against the Radicals is a matchup between two elite defenses and high-scoring offenses—Madison and Chicago both rank top-2 in points per game and defensive efficiency this season.

The Union have lived up to expectations so far after assembling one of their strongest rosters to date this past offseason. Keegan North, the former Indianapolis AlleyCat playing his first season with the Union, threw six assists this past weekend against his former team. This week it’ll be 2019 All-Stars Pat Shriwise and Peter Graffy in a revenge game of their own—the two won the AUDL Championship with the Radicals in 2018 and played a combined 13 seasons with Madison before joining the Union this year.

Tickets are available through the team's official online store.
