The Chicago Union will play their final regular season home game at Elmhurst University’s Langhorst Field this Saturday, August 7 at 6:00pm against the Detroit Mechanix. 

The Union clinched a playoff berth for the second consecutive season with a decisive 23-18 win over Madison last Friday night. They became the first team in the league to reach eight wins in 2021, and with their two remaining games both being played against the 0-9 Mechanix, the Union will likely finish with 10 regular season wins for the first time since their inaugural 2013 season. This week Chicago is favored by 10.5 points, via DraftKings Sportsbook.

Following back-to-back losses in Week 6, the Union have now won each of their last three games, including one each against Madison and Minnesota. They’re playing like one of the best teams in the league and with playoffs beginning in just three weeks, Chicago is peaking at the right time. Heading into Week 10, the Union rank top-5 in every major team category: points per game, points allowed per game, offensive efficiency, defensive efficiency, and turnovers per game.
