Originally from McKinleyville, CA, Max became heavily involved in several sports in high school, including basketball, cross country, and track & field. He was introduced to Ultimate in 2021 at UCSB, played his first season in the UFA with the Los Angeles Aviators in 2025, and is now with the San Diego Growlers in 2026.
