Throughout the 2023 season, the AUDL’s weekly honor roll will be revealed each Monday, honoring seven players whose individual exploits merit recognition. The players are listed alphabetically by last name.

Friction Gloves has been named as the official glove of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) through the 2024 season. Friction was established in 2012 and introduced gloves to the sport of ultimate. Founder Chris “Hanky” Hancock has played elite ultimate since 2008, including as part of the Portland Nitro’s inaugural season in 2022.

Key games for the league’s top teams this week, as DC, New York, and Salt Lake will look for big individual contributions to keep momentum going into their respective playoff runs. Elevated roles, consistency when it’s needed most, and MVP-level play are the themes for this week’s watch list as we head into the third full month of the season.

All current AUDL players were sent a handful of prompts earlier this week designed to be as open-ended as possible. Additionally, players were asked to vote in a single-question, multiple choice survey.
