The Toronto Rush O-Line

By Louis Zatzman

April 11, 2018

The Toronto Rush offence works like a symphony without a soloist, or a chocolate covered pretzel: greater than the sum of its parts. It starts with the veteran throwers, who are smarter and more capable than practically any handler defenders an opposing team can muster.

Leadership, the Toronto Rush Style

The Toronto Rush are in good hands. The core leadership has been consistent since the team’s inception in 2013, even if the title of ‘captain’ has rotated between players. Mark Lloyd was the captain of the original Rush roster, with Thomson McKnight as his assistant captain. Both are still on the team, though Lloyd doesn’t currently hold the mantle; he spends most of his time in Winnipeg. Past captain Jeff Lindquist (also on the team since its inception) had to step down two years ago due to time constraints.

Rush Announce 2018 Roster

After an 11-3 regular season and a championship game appearance in 2017, the Toronto Rush are ready to embark on their 2018 campaign. Toronto returns every key contributor from last season, while adding another class of young talent and two returning veteran playmakers in Anatoly Vasilyev and Justin Foord. The Rush will be pursuing their sixth straight East Division title.
