Deceptively, the final score was 24-16. It wasn’t that close.

On Saturday night at Breese Stevens Field, 1,200 of the best fans in ultimate were dealt a powerful punch in the gut, and the hometown team they cheered for was left looking for answers, humbled by the speed, precision, and overall brilliance of a dynamic opponent finally hitting its stride.

Raleigh Launches Ultimate Training Academy For Summer 2018

The Raleigh Flyers and Radiance will be launching a new ultimate camp called the Ultimate Training Academy this summer in 2018. The camp, which is open exclusively to middle school age players, will be coached by Flyers head coach Mike Denardis and Radiance captain Jessi Jones as well as other notable athletes from the triangle. Over four days in June, campers will experience a full range of instruction about advanced fundamentals, offensive and defensive techniques and how to stay focussed and loose over the course of a full game or tournament.
