2026 Oregon Steel Coaching Team:
Topher Davis, Timmy Perston (HC), Chris Hancock.
Timmy Perston has been a leader in Oregon Ultimate for decades, as a player, volunteer coach, nonprofit supporter, and super fan in the local ultimate community. Timmy took the helm of Oregon Steel in 2024, joined late in that first season by Chris Hancock. Chris, known locally as "Hanky", came on more full-time in 2025, adding a layer of offense support needed to take Steel to the next level. Now in their 3rd year of coaching together, Timmy and Hanky are joined by Topher Davis, who brings east coast and UFA Championship experience, having played on Boston Glory for the last 5 years.
Timmy, Hanky, and Topher look to leverage their experience playing together on the previous local pro-team, Portland Stags, area club team Rhino Slam!, and top level Oregon college program UO Ego (Topher) and OSU Beavers (Timmy & Hanky). The last 2 years have been about developing chemistry and setting the building blocks for a playoff contending team. 2026 is about leveling up! |
