growing up I played basketball, football, and baseball until middle school where I then competed in cross country, basketball and track. Bad Osgood-Schlatter’s in my knees, chronic exertional compartment syndrome in my lower leg, and a fractured fibula kept me from the sports I loved starting in 8th grade. I never got back to those sports in the way I’d hoped to but thankfully I found ultimate just before college and had overcome or learned to manage everything troubling my legs. In addition to Ultimate, I love many hobbies and hardly ever sit still. To name a handful, I love playing pool, disc golf, card games, board games, and playing drums on Rock Band pro drums with a real electric kit learning to play songs. Last August my wife, McKenna, and I welcomed our twins, Olivia and Luca, into the world - giving us the perfect start to our family! They’re the greatest part of our lives in addition to our incredible extended family.
