After the cancellation of last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Raleigh Flyers are excited to return to the field this summer. The Flyers will play a 12-game regular season from June to August, with the potential for playoff games in September. The first of six home games will be Saturday, June 12 at 6:00pm EDT at Durham County Stadium for a gritty matchup with the DC Breeze.
The Flyers enter the 2021 season playing in the new Atlantic Division, where they’ll face off with Atlanta, Boston, DC, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay throughout the season. The team has made the playoffs each of their first five seasons in the league, including three consecutive seasons with 10 regular season wins.
While regular season success has come easily, the Flyers are just 2-5 all-time in the postseason, notably struggling against their former division rivals, the Dallas Roughnecks. Historically, the Roughnecks have been the Flyers’ kryptonite; the Roughnecks defeated the Flyers in three straight South Division Championship Games from 2017 to 2019. With Dallas now moving to the West Division as part of the AUDL’s 2020 divisional realignment, the Flyers will have their sights set on reaching their first Championship Weekend since 2015.
Season and single-game tickets are available through the Flyers' official online store.
