Wefunder Update

The AUDL has already raised over $340,000 via our crowdfunding raise on Wefunder, an online investing platform. Through the Wefunder campaign, fans are being given the unique opportunity to invest in a pro sports league. The AUDL was founded in 2012 and in that time has grown to 22 teams across North America with a TV deal with Fox Sports, and over a million social media followers.

Jobs - Director of Merchandise

Responsibilities associated with this job include some or all of the following:

  • Tracking inventory
  • Fulfilling online orders
  • Sourcing product
  • Supervising gameday sales
  • Merchandise selection and design

In-season (April-August) all of the above-described tasks could require as many as ten hours per week. Off-season, five would probably be ample.

Jobs - Traveling Secretary

In 2022, Glory will make four road trips to six cities: Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. The Traveling Secretary will be responsible for arranging transportation, lodging, food and other logistics for these trips. If desired, he/she can travel with the team, although that is not a requirement of the job.

The role of the Glory’s analysts will be to conduct studies using data gathered by the statisticians, with a view towards providing the team with a competitive advantage. Such studies would be designed to determine the efficacy of various strategies and to ascertain the value contributed by individual players.

Boston Glory is a second-year team in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). Glory has compiled extensive touch-by-touch data from dozens of previously-played AUDL games and is now looking to employ this data to gain a strategic advantage in its quest to become AUDL champion!

Boston Glory is a semi-professional Ultimate Frisbee™ team playing in the 24-team Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA). We play six home games each season at Hormel Stadium in Medford, MA from April - August. Unless otherwise stated pay is nominal or non-existent. Many positions are well-suited for interns.
