After one season with the Philadelphia Phoenix, two-way playmaker Marques Brownlee has signed with the New York Empire in 2018. The Empire missed the playoffs in 2017 for the first time since the franchise's inception in 2013. Brownlee had 19 assists, 30 goals, and 18 blocks for the Phoenix in 2017 while splitting time between offensive and defensive lines.
