The Philadelphia Phoenix (4-6) travel south to take on the Carolina Flyers (7-2) for the Hotbird’s final road game of the season. After starting the season 1-6, Philadelphia has started to find its legs, winning three in a row. Carolina has mirrored Philly’s performance, starting a commanding 7-0 before back-to-back losses dropped them to second place in the division.
The start of the home stretch has begun for the Madison Radicals. This weekend, on July 6, the Radicals will host the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds at Breese Stevens Field for their first of a three- game home stand to conclude the season.

1. New York Thrashes Salt Lake in Championship Rematch
The Empire have not been the dominant team in the league all year long, but they sure looked a whole lot like their dynastic selves on Saturday against Salt Lake, steamrolling the Shred 25-14 in New York’s first ever game at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford.
It feels like anytime the Indianapolis AlleyCats and the Madison Radicals play each other it comes down to the very end. The last five of seven matchups between these two teams have been decided by a single point, but only two of the seven have gone Madison’s way. This past weekend was no different, as the Radicals suffered a heartbreaking 23-22 loss to the AlleyCats..
There’s nothing like going on a road trip for two games and coming back with the division title. That’s exactly what the Minnesota Wind Chill were able to do this past weekend with wins on June 28 and 29.
By any measure, Week 10 featured some of the most thrilling frisbee of the entire season.
Just not in the two marquee games.
Carolina-DC and Salt Lake-New York, from a dramatic standpoint, were a couple of duds, both featuring East excellence and excessive amounts of garbage time.
