William grew up in Mason, Ohio. His father introduced him to ultimate frisbee, and he started his competitive career with the Cincinnati Flying Pig youth program in 2016. He attends the University of Cincinnati and is pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. He also plays on Chicago Machine, UC Club Ultimate, and was selected to be a part of the 2025 USA U-24 Men's Team.
