David was born in Indianapolis but raised in Columbus OH. He found Ultimate when he went to Trine University while playing baseball for the university. Played all 4 years at Trine and continued playing in Fort Wayne IN. While in Fort Wayne he founded a club team (TRUC). He spend the majority of his time outside of ultimate with his wife (Ashlynn) playing in sports leagues and hanging out with friends. He works for Southern Glazers Spirits and wine as a sales consultant in the South Bend area.
