AlleyCats Set to Return to the Field in June

May 20, 2021

After more than 600 days without playing a game, the Indianapolis AlleyCats of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) will return to the field this summer. The 2021 AUDL schedule has officially been announced; the AlleyCats will play a 12-game regular season from June to August, with the potential for playoff games in September. Their home opener will be played Friday, June 4 at 7:30 PM/ET at Grand Park against the Detroit Mechanix.

The AlleyCats are the reigning division champions; they finished as a top-4 team in 2019. This past offseason, AlleyCats legends Cameron Brock and Keenan Plew announced their retirement. The two played every season since the AUDL was founded in 2012 and rank first and second, respectively, in career goals.

The AlleyCats enter the 2021 season playing in the new Central Division, where they’ll match up with Chicago, Detroit, Madison, and Minnesota throughout the season.
